Dr. Jonathan Ellis graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from VCU, and attended Thomas Dale High School in Chester. In 2006, Dr. Ellis completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Beach, California, where he learned advanced techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, dental implants, periodontics (gum care), crowns, bridges, and partial and complete dentures. After moving back home to Virginia, Dr. Ellis joined in practice with his father, Dr. David Ellis. He and his wife Annie are the proud parents of the newest Ellis, Abigael Stewart (Abby), born December 30th, 2007.

Dr. Ellis is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Southside Dental Society.
