Partial, Complete, and Implant Supported Dentures
We offer many solutions for replacing missing teeth, including partial and complete removable dentures. We also can accomodate our patients with the advanced technique of implant retained/supported partial and complete dentures for the ultimate in fit and security. See our section on dental implants for more information.
Removable Complete Dentures
Dentures are a solution to replacing teeth once all teeth on your upper and/or lower arch have been extracted. We custom tailor dentures that can be available to you the same day you have your teeth extracted. Properly maintained dentures can improve your appearance, speaking ability, and chewing function. However, dentures are not for everyone, and your success with wearing dentures depends on you.
We always strive to help our patients maintain their natural teeth for as long as possible. If dentures are the best option, we can create quality dentures for you and give you the education and care necessary to maintain them for as long as possible.
Implant Supported Partial and Complete Dentures
In certain instances, partial and complete dentures can be "anchored" in the mouth, attaching to dental implants that help hold them securely in place. This improves retention and chewing function. Please refer to the Implants section for more information.
Removable Partial Dentures (Partials)
Partials are meant to replace missing teeth in the mouth in order to prevent drift and/or super-eruption of surrounding teeth. The base of a partial is made with either metal or a nylon pliable gum- colored material. Replacement teeth are custom crafted to fit on this base in order to fill in the specific teeth the patient is missing.
We often craft temporary partials for patients who are in the midst of longer range care such as implants or bridges.
